Welcome! We understand that going into a new church can be overwhelming . . . finding your way around, new faces, the unknown . . . it can be far from relaxing. We want your experience with us to be a pleasant one so we encourage you to stop by the Welcome Center or feel free to grab anyone with an "I can help" badge, they would be happy to assist you.
Below are answers to some common questions:
When are your gatherings?
Currently MCA offers two idential Sunday morning gatherings. One is at 9am and the other is at 11am. We also offer Merge Student Gathering for ages 6th grade through 12th on Wednesdays at 7pm.
Weekend gatherings are a time of both celebration and contemplation at M.C.A. We enjoy a casual environment with contemporary music, and a relevant message. We are not about "religion" but rather "relationship". Our desire is that all those who attend will experience God. To find out more about our weekend gatherings please click here.
What do people wear?
Well, we're in the Northwest & the church at Maltby reflects it's community. Generally dress is very casual to business casual and everything in between! Come as you are most comfortable.
Will the church overwhelm me with letters, calls, etc?
Absolutely not! Obviously, we would like to warmly welcome all of our guests, however, we will not inundate you with calls, visits, letters etc... We give you the opportunity to fill out a Connection Card with basic information so that we know who you are & how we can be of service to you. Drop the completed card in the offering bucket and as you exit the Worship Center pick up a small gift which includes a card for a complimentary drink at our Coffee Stand. This is our way of saying " Thank you for being our guest today"!
Who will be there?
Great question! A wide variety of people will be here. We have all ages, from infants to seniors, and everything in between . . . Children, teens, young adults, young marrieds, families, single adults, seniors. No one word can describe these people because their interests, careers, education, families, incomes etc. vary greatly, however they would all be welcoming to you!
What about my kids?
We provide weekly gatherings that are custom fit for your children. During our children's weekend and weekday gatherings committed teams of volunteers strive to create an environment that allows kids to be kids while they safely explore God with all the fun, adventure, and energy they have and we love. Sorry, parents: kids only - unless, of course, you'd like to join our team of volunteers.
