kid's life groups
Wednesdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm
Life groups are the small groups of the church at Maltby. Our hope is that kid's life groups gives an opportunity for your child to dig deeper into God's Word and learn about the limitless love that He offers them. We also hope the relationships that the children build in their groups will last a lifetime and that they'll look forward to spending time each week with kids their own age and gender.
We encourage you to take a few moments and explore the specific life groups we have available for your kids. Kids Life Groups run from September through June from 6:30pm-8:30pm on Wednesdays. During that time your child will participate in two separate Life Groups, a Serve Group of their choice and a Growth Group based on their age and gender. See details on those group choices below. To have your child participate in both Life Groups there is a $20.00 per child annual fee which goes to purchase a tee-shirt uniform for your child's group along with other needed resources.
Serve Groups
Rainbows Serve Group: PreschoolYou are never to young to learn the importance of serving others and using your talents to glorify God. As part of our Rainbows program your preschooler will learn just that and be given the opportunity to put that lesson into practice. Your preschooler will particpate in hands on, age appropriate projects to serve their family, church, community and world.
Community Serve Group: Kindergarten-6th grade At Maltby we believe it is so important that our children learn to serve others and through that serve God. Using our time and abilities to serve others should be a daily part of every Christ-followers life. As a part of this Community Serve Group your child will participate in hands on, age appropriate projects to serve their family, church, community and world.
Praise & Company: Kindergarten-6th grade Praise & Company enables children to
minister to others by using their own God given abilities in music and drama.
Praise and Company often performs during our Sunday Gatherings as well as
several annual musicals. Your child will learn to sing, to dance, to play the
bells & various rhythm instruments and even to participate in dramas!

Growth Groups
Rainbows: Preschool aged childrenAll preschoolers ages 3-5 are invited every Wednesday night through the school year for a fun time of Bible stories, crafts, singing, Scripture memorizing and activities. Lessons are taught with as many hands on features as possible to make the Bible come alive for your preschoolers!

Mpact: Girls kindergarten - 6th grade Mpact girls life groups are a program for winning girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance. Mpact provides an environment of support and accountability while helping girls to develop their gifts and abilities. In addition, girls build lifelong relationships with mentors who encourage them to be spiritual leaders. Mpact is broken up into four smaller life groups based on age which you can see below.

Rangers: Boys kindergarten - 6th grade Rangers is a ministry that motivates boys spiritually through Bible study and memorization, devotionals, and Christian role models. Boys are strengthened mentally by an advanced awards based weekly program. Further; the boys increase their physical prowess by participation in age-specific activities and recreation. Finally they are introduced to church, community and nature related activities to develop their social skills and awareness. Rangers is broken up into two smaller life groups based on age which you can see below.
